Did you know SoCal AFP has Affinity Groups?

SoCal AFP has developed a focus group for higher ed treasury and finance practitioners to discuss best practices and action plans for cyber crime and associated fraud mitigation.  Results will be presented at our 2026 EXPO. 

We are also forming a Women (and Allies) in Treasury and Finance Affinity Group. Meetings will be a combination of social, networking and educational programs. Join us at an upcoming event.

I recently attended the SoCal AFP Treasury and Finance EXPO, and I wanted to share my appreciation for such an informative and impactful experience.  The event was highly educational and reinforced the value of staying closely connected to evolving industry trends. I especially appreciated the depth of industry knowledge shared and the practical insights that were provided. The discussion around emerging payment channels, including real-time payments, was particularly eye-opening and challenged me to think differently about how these solutions can support clients in today’s fast-moving environment.
